Haha, check out the drone footage on this website. Guess I'd call it "firewood porn".

    VERY THICK FOG

But the last puzzle solved before the bonus was something else. Mrs. Eric VW said, "I wonder if Yooper's 99 will get that one!"

Still $25 for a truck load. Stephiedoll this one is for you guys!

    DSCN0315.JPG DSCN0314.JPG

The load was almost all oak. Some yellow and some white birch (probably about 5 sticks total) and one aspen/poplar that I should have thrown back! about half the truck bed was the cutoffs sized as what you see in the second pic; the first pic was slab cutoffs around 4' long.

I didn't load the truck as heavy as I did last fall since I had a longer trip to take with it.....barely noticed it anyway so next time, there'll be more of a load.

Thanks Eric VW for the assistance of editing pics!

Will they still charge $25 if you were to put sides on the bed?

My buddy stopped by. We motivated each other to take the carb off of my ariens tractor, and clean it out. There was tons of crap in the carb bowl. It's all clean now, and we got it to idle down better to one we rehooked the linkages up.

It runs really nice all through the rev range.

Next up, getting the boat running, then change the oil on it. Saturday looks to be the pick day to be on the lake, so I don't have the option of doing this on the weekend.

So remember when I said I didn't have a bruise , then a small bruise from my fall in the driveway last Thursday?

    Umm it's a doozy now.

Dark purple, and it looks like the shape of the continent of Africa. Complete with the Nile River running through it. Seriously.

It's getting better though. So no cause for concern. I do hope that the bruise starts shrinking though.

Those deep tissue bruises don't come out until much later so they fool you into thinking you didn't do much damage. And then they take forever to go away.
