Fell, huh? At your age, too? :picard: Hmmmm. Just may have to give up the motorcycling next....or training wheels for the bike can get you a couple extra years or riding!

    Seriously, glad you're not hurt.

AC guy is on his way to give me an estimate on replacing our system. Our current system is undersized can't keep up when it gets over 90, plus we're going to be cooling an additional 300 +/- ft2 with the new mud room.

I expect this is going to be very expensive.

I just got a text from my bride. The little stray cat that we had been taking care of, died in his sleep last night. He had taken up residence on our front porch for the past few months and was the nicest cat I had ever been around. We fed him and made a small bed on one of the chairs for him.

I took him into the vet last week as he wasn't looking very good and he looked like a new cat for a while, but the last few days he started looking sick again. I was going to take him back to the vet this weekend too.

I know my wife will be taking it hard, but she gave that little guy a family and a home so at least he knew that in the end.

Dang animals....making us get all attached to them!

Oh no, so sorry for your loss. Even in such a short time they can entrench themselves firmly into our hearts. Thank you and your bride for giving him a loving environment for his last days.

Thanks everyone. Not a cat person but I'm gonna miss that little turd jumping on my lap as we sat on the porch.

I'm good, you can keep the snow and ice.

Actually, I'm surprised that there's not one big old black and blue bruise on my hip. (Edit, my wife informed me that there's a sizeable dark bruise on my right hip/ cheek. )

I'm a little sore, but pretty decent considering what happened.

Never. I'm good. Stupid aerator tripped me. Serves me right for wasting time on yard work.

I got a tooth pulled today, that was fun! I was going to make it to the logging show up in Bangor and almost made it there, but the wife and 3 year old were in tow and when we got to the gate...it was the vendor gate and we had another hike to make. By then the 3 year old was worn out, so we got to see the Wallenstein Display from the fence and sadly had to leave. I'd go tomorrow, but said 3 year old turns 4 and family is coming from New Hampshire a state away, so its all about My Little Ponies and not logging equipment.

That is okay, sometimes I have to remind myself that I am a farmer and not a logger anyway.
