I drove our Polaris for the first time ever this weekend. But, even low was too fast for me and the blasted manual steering.

Imho, power steering is simply added complexity, expense, and weight for a quad.

Yep your right on all. Just wish I could have the one finger steering like on my Ol Blaze on everything. Our 72 Mustang brake pedal? :hair: How cool would it be to have the heater blower from the 1999 F250, steering from the Blaze, and everything ride like a nice car:dex:

Sunday it snowed and top temp was mid 40's. Tomorrow supposed to be 85 and Thursday in the 90's. Dang, I wish spring wasn't so bi-polar and would just ease us into the hot temps.

If you were to ever want/ need another 4x4 quad, and not want the expense of a newer machine and all the doodads that break, get a bayou like mine. Light, not quite one finger, steering, no radiators, no BS in a small but big and capable rig.

    Horkn Dew? :)

Went to the museum meeting last night.

Apparently just before I got there the other board members decided I should fill the shoes of the retiring board president.

I didn't even have time to hear the train coming.

Really windy out this morning so Cricket decided to stay under the covers instead of going for a walk. She really doesn't like wearing a t-shirt when it is cold out. Looks like we might get decent weather all this week with SUN over the long weekend (Victoria Day) coming up. campinspecter is going to be busy today as he went shopping yesterday and bought a new lawnmower for Mom's place. Now he is behind a day with the chores.

Our street is being tore up as they are installing fibre optic cables for the internet. You never know whether you are going to be able to get in or out of the carport.

Got a hot water baseboard heater pulled out of the back hallway (that will no longer be hallway in the future) and ready to relocate to the mud room. Just need to figure out how to plumb it back in. The concrete floor in the mud room has a huge crown in it that I have no desire to correct, so that's going to make it even more fun.

Holy $#!% the old fittings are stuck in there good. I'm afraid if I put any more mojo on them it will destroy the heater. Tried some heat and PB blaster and not even a creak.
