I understand about allergies and how they are distributed throughout the area.

About 5 years ago or so, I was tested for allergies since the Dr. I was seeing told me all the same things. (I was having a side effect of some meds she prescribed) Ended up going to a specialist down in Milwaukee and they told me then that what I was experiencing was side effects (etc) and not any allergic reaction.

Good enough for me. There are years that go by that I don't/won't get sick; this year seems to make up for one or two of those years as this is the third time I've had these symptoms. First was the worse, second was bad, the third time is bearable...so far (4-5 days now)

If this is what having allergies is like, I think the people out there who have been diagnosed would be a lot more miserable that what I see...just an occasional sneeze or runny nose.....

Fair enough. Follow this young lady's direction. Take two of these before dinner this evening, best to have steak, potatoe, and salad, and go to bed early.

Raining this morning so I am staying home to work on my course. We went yesterday and the walk was cut short as we were not dressed for the rain that caught us. Real spring weather - rainy one minute, sunny the next.

A walk with two of the kids after the rain stopped. There was a cool breeze but it was a good walk. IMG_2970.JPG

Yes, lathe. Trying to start a new hobby (for retirement).

Should be able to teach myself whatever it is I need/want to do.....

It's just that the rest of you members will have to suffer through my pics of "first attempt at wood bowl" stuff like that!

Huron Ohio. It's going to be delivered to my work tomorrow. It's a TLR motor, going into my TLS. So while it's got higher compression and forged pistons, heavier duty clutch, and a better oiling system and heavy duty output shaft bearing than my S, I have some cooling system changes to make, as well as a slight electrical mod, to fit it in my TLS. So it'll be a TL1000S/R when done. Others have done the motor swap before, but the documentation of exact parts and such has been a little lack luster.

I'll start a thread on it.

So many projects going on now, but this one takes priority.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I'll be installing my wired e fence for my dogs on Friday afternoon, and our friends same e fence about 30 miles away on Saturday. So I'll be busy.

I spent the day working at a mill in N Wis yesterday. As soon as we drove onto the property, I noticed (go figure, right?) a huge pile of log cut offs. Butt ends, cookies about 6-8 inches thick, that sort of thing. Most of the waste were just normal rounds no longer the 20" or so. The pile was about 12' high, 150' long, and mounded with a base of around 30' or so wide.

Before starting work, had to have a safety/policy meeting since we are on their property, right?

"OK, that about does it. Do either of you have any questions?"

Me- "Whats a fella have to do to get some of that wood?"

    "You have to work here"

    "Good....thats why I'm here today!"

"I mean you have to be an employee here. You can have all you want at no charge if you're an employee."

Man oh man, All you would have to do is drive your truck up to the pile and start loading the rounds. Even it you did it every day you worked there, say an extra 15 minutes a day after work....sheesh!

It would be FHC Central Headquarters if.....aw, better stop thinking about it!

Its 6:30 am and I'm already in trouble. My wife washed the deck last weekend. I had a fire last night and it snowed black creosote dust all over her clean deck. I'm hoping the rain will clean it off. She should spank me, right? :D
