I took my son into town for a walk along the shore of the Oswegatchie river down by the dam before dark. I think today will be the river's highest water level, or close to it. Here are a few pics I took while standing on the concrete wall right next to it. The sound of the water is fairly loud and pretty cool to be near. I should have taken a video to give you a better experience of it.

As I laid on the couch at the cottage Sat evening, I heard a high pitch buzzing. Yup! Bagged my first mosquito of the year.

What a wild weather day today. It was 76 and sunny today by noon. Then the cold front hit, it dropped to 39° it hailed at work, but it was just little stuff. So no automobile damage. It rained a lot too.

Did some wiring removal up in the attic and insulated the mud room walls.

The wiring in this house is beyond stupid. I'm taking it all out...Making new home runs back to the breaker and everything. The only thing I'm keeping are some switch wires for multi-way switches.

Everyone must be asleep this morning.

Went for our walk. It was dark when we started out but soon it lightened up. Nice to be able to see where you are going.

Slept in today and am now waiting for my Father to come home to his place so we can have lunch together. My Mother and Sister went out of town for a little shopping trip so they could both get away and do something different. So I will spend part of the afternoon with my Father and later my older brother will come over to see him for dinner.

Things are insanely busy here with the saws, cows, and fencing.......

Hey hey Mastermind. Good to here from ya man. Hope all is well for you and yours.

Busy busy here as well. My fencing went up for my wife's two horses last summer. And I built her a nice horse barn in the fall, and got the roof on and enclosed the walls before the weather got bad. What a relief.

How long is your waiting list for porting saws now?

Right now we are fencing in 54 acres that I've got leased from my neighbor. The place has been badly neglected and the fence is in sad shape. Last night when we stopped we were looking at a spot that the old fence disappeared into........honeysuckles and briars over our heads. I'm dreading that spot. Gotta just wade off in there I reckon.

I've got shipping dates available in late August. I know......crazy huh?

HL Supply built me a nice website, and it's really working well. I turn down more work than I take these days. You could say I'm getting picky about what I work on. lol

Do you have to cut the wings off and tag them for the DNR? :)

That fence looks great compared to what we are tearing out.

Up north in Wisconsin, they got 4-8" of wet heavy snow. 15000 people were without power, including my parents. They got power on just before noon today. Mom said it was a foot of snow. Lol. Not that much mom. Still, it's a pita until it melts.
