    Weather guessers showing starting Thursday for our(meaning yours and mine) area 9 days of off and on showers. I know it's spring time, but not looking forward to mud season.

    Third morning of serious headache and drippy nose. Slept better last night even though I slept most of yesterday. Today I am getting better. My mind is made up. It is going to happen today. Not too much incentive from the outside as it is pouring rain out.

    Had my business credit card info stolen and someone tried to buy groceries delivered to their home and book rooms at a time share. I figured it was a good time to check my credit score this morning. Haven't done it in years.

    I guess paying off the house a few years ago didn't hurt my rating as much as people say?

    Only thing I owe on is my MX5100 with the 0% promotional rate Kubota offered in 2013. It will be paid off next year.

    Actually it does - but it bounces back fairly quickly. My credit score took about 100 pt dip when I got divorced because the house came off of my name so I no longer had "long term", secured debt - and all my "active" credit was recent; I had closed a card I had had for 20 years (they pizzed me off) and gotten a CC with a different company, my car had been paid off for a year etc. Didnt' matter that I had 30 years of excellent credit, just active credit counted at that point.The funny part is that when I was married my credit score was always better than my Ex's and I even added my name to his truck and motorcycle loans to get a slightly better rate.

    However, my credit score has bounced back and gone even higher than it was (not quite as high as yours but only a couple points lower).

    Congrats on being a responsible credit user - that is awesome!
