We cut the cord about a year ago. Dish was up to 100/mo bundled with our land line and internet. I realized my kids watched YouTube more than TV so away it went. We were still paying 87.00/month for phone and internet until the first of January. A mouse chewed the wires causing us to lose phone and internet for almost a week. I told the CS lady if I was going to crappy service I was going to switch to cable and get crappy service. They dropped our rate for both internet and phone to 54.00/mo.

If you live in an area that has both DSL and cable but DSL can't offer the speed of cable, you might be able to get your DSL/phone bill reduced. I can live with 10mb service since we aren't gamers.

Two choices for today. Go snowshoeing in 55 degree weather through the woods with the wind howling...
Or go to the cottage for a warm fire, cookout, and movies on the tube.....measure up for some insulation/osb.

    HHMMMMM?

    Coffee is phenomenal this morning!.

Can you drink coffee and snowshoe at the same time? :)

    Probably not!

It is just too windy to be out in the woods today and perhaps just a tad too warm for snowshoeing at 55!

We'll be putting in two loads of wood today but I'm not sure if I'll be cutting or burning wood in the outside fireplace the rest of the day.

Send some of that warm stuff this way would you please. We are having some of the coldest temps. of this winter. With the wind, it is just too much to go out in.

Yeah, what's up with that? We're trying to fly a puppy into Bangor, but it has to be at least 40 degrees and rising. No such thing as a direct flight from here to there, and even if it's warm enough there it's too cold at a connecting terminal. Been warmer in Minneapolis than on the east coast lately.
