    What a day!

1: puncheded a whole in a 250 gallon tote of alcalyde detergent had to plug it with rubber zip ties and my multi tool! :headbang::headbang:

2: went to a farm and had a total disaster filling up a tote with teat dip.

3: on my way home had an emergency call cows lifted a crowd gate off the tracks and knocked it to the ground.

4: Had my work van randomly stall on me twice on the way to the emergency.

5: got home and the wife was upset that the water heater went out and there was no warm water.

6: I am still on call so what's next tonight?

    ANY GUESSES???

Unfortunately there's a lot of "lean manufacturing" that don't do it properly, and a lot of foreign sourced components that create the supply chain nightmare that I live every week.

What's funny, not really funny though, is that sometimes it's the massive suppliers that you'd think should have it all figured out, that really mess it up.

If it's repeat items you need, with long lead times, and you can't have any quality issues delaying supply....... Then get a stocking agreement in place.

Do you have Planners and Buyers working on this/ for you?

Couple things, not sure I mentioned them. The mini tornado that shattered the breezeway window also dislodged my 16' sliding glass door wall unit, took me 2 weeks to figure out where the draft was coming from:headbang:. WWW used leverage from a log to push it back while I drove a couple new screws, not that great but draft is cut down alot. $500 deductable on HO insurance, but unit is good, just disloged. Second, I met my daughter at the bus as the driver opened the door and I heard her say "Jay, your grandma is waiting for you":picard:.

Also worked in a window factory where the women had to use alcohol to clean the sealant off of the units before they were packaged and shipped. You can imagine how that affected their hands after repeated use hour after hour per day...they had a large jar of udder cream/bag balm right at their work stations.

But the same women would spend hour after hour in the bars with no regards to that kind of alcohol.........;)
