rained all day yesterday and half the snow disappeared. We woke up to a heavy snowfall going on so we may get about an inch or two more. It has been a crazy week but we did good on our audit. Looking forward to a long weekend. It is Family Day in BC this weekend so Monday off.

Yes, I'd still hate them even if they had no championships. I can't stand liars and cheaters.

I'm too much of an Eagle Scout. Maybe that's because I am.

I'm a Packers fan because of where I was raised, not because of them being 13 time world champions.

The trails are great. I put on just under 50 miles on my own last night getting the sled from the cottage in Tomahawk to the hotel in Rhinelander. The wife drove the 4runner.

It's to get just over freezing tomorrow, but trails are the best I've seen in Many years. Smooth and groomed, not icy, and no bare spots anywhere. Granted all of our sleds are studded and I run a fair amount of carbide on the runners. So icy trails are better dealt with than a non studded sled.

There's a nice shagbark hickory outside of our hotel room even.

I'm in wood stove withdrawal though.

Maybe a bar or restaurant or 2 will have a wood stove going?

Make sure its still there once you leave!!!

I can only assume that with those conditions, trails will be pounded this weekend...be careful!

Used to be a lot of bars in the U.P. that had wood fires going-from what I can remember!

The 09 moresnow is taking about is a 500 cc 4 stroke, hence the nearly 20 mpg. Completely different sled than the phasers most people think of. Note the 4 stroke version is a great sled, it's just no rocket ship.

The new version does maybe 75 mph on a good day. Nothing wind with that really. 99% of the time that's plenty fast enough.

Yeah, most of these places are a few miles away from our typical haunts. I just need to find those places around here.

Yes, the trails will get run a lot this weekend. A big Crew cab Chevy with a 6 place enclosed trailer pulled into the hotel lot right after I got there with the sled.

There will be traffic this weekend, I am certain.

Oh yeah, I figured that..."nobody" up north rides those old antiques like mine anymore, do they?
I've ridden the newer stuff...its nice, but I like mine just fine for stompin around in our 6 inch "snow storms". Nothing worse than helping somebody dig one of those heavy ole liquid cooled pigs (like VMax 600) out of a huge drift...
I just can't justify tying up big $ on a new one here...we don't get enough snow and I don't go on trips often enough. Heck, most of the sled dealers have even dried up around here since "global warming" has taken over

Still stuck on 209 :hair: I did put in a good hard 30 minutes on the mill this afternoon and 20 this morning.

The meal for tonight will be a hot tomato salad with two hot cherry peppers, I'll break 209 before Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure why I can't get through it, all I've been eating is salads, cheerios and some chicken on the salad.

I even went an bought some new cd's today, some ZZ Top this afternoon got me going pretty good. I hope the wife is up tomorrow morning when I workout because some Grand Funk is going on.

We have a possible storm coming in on Sunday, they're calling for 8-12 of the white stuff. How are U doing on the weight?

Yesterday morning 213. This morning 214.

Helping out with decorating for tomorrow's dance tonight. I'm hoping that the dancing will add to the treadmill, no?
Now if I can just resist stopping and eating somewhere after decorating......
