Caffeine going in. As soon as I finish this Pepsi it will be time to get my butt moving and get some things done around here. I think I will put a newly sharpened blade on the CS680 and see how it cuts.:saw:

It is dark and foggy here. Hopefully it will brighten up some soon.

Overcast and quite warm for this time of year. campinspecter and the three supervisors are making a trip to the vet today. Two for shots and a checkup and one for a checkup. It will be a fun trip for all of them. Unfortunately three of them can't share the driving with campinspecter. I am off to work in a bit, breakfast first.

A light rain most of the morning. So I stayed in and started organizing and cleaning the garage. Returned borrowed tools for barn build to one of my brothers. Visited with him for a while.

Met my wife for her lunch break and we had a bite to eat together.

Returned merchandise to Lowes that I bought too much of. Found the receipts and got my $ back. Now it's time to organize more tools and hardware. My bench!:picard:

V-8 Fushion Energy first thing in the morning. Followed by a can of Pepsi a little later. I'm also trying to eat a little less. I find if I'm a little hungry I actually seem to have more energy. I have to try to eat the right things though. So I can maintain that energy. Eat junk, energy goes away quick.

It hit 50 degrees today and sunny. The ice melted off the ponds. We still have February ahead of us, but I'd say ice fishing is not happening. Bizarre winter.

yooperdave , if I keep dropping weight and stay on the correct menu I should be hitting 214 on or before Wednesday.

I should be 216 tomorrow or Saturday the latest. That shirt might end up in the garbage after I hit 214 or U could send me your address so I could send it to 99, it would smell nice hanging near the wood stove.

I think we'll both pass on that generous offer!

I wonder just how you would declare the contents of the mailing package at the Post Office anyway?????

Was taking a shower this morning and power went out - rinsed ASAP with dwindling well pump pressure.
got ready for work in the dark - noticed most of the neighbors security lights were working except mine and two others(we have the same tap/fuse

Turned out my pole transformer faulted phase-phase, wasn't home but the GF kept me updated - they had it replaced ~noon left some good ruts in the yard, but what ya gonna do, I have power.

Wow. I can see half of the top of my bench in the garage. o_O I'm getting up early tomorrow to finish the job. I will be able to see 90% of it tomorrow, mid-morning.:zip:

I went to my son's basketball game this afternoon. Good game. They lost by 3 or 4 points, but they worked hard to stay with them. Could have won it if they hadn't of turned the ball over several times in the last 5 minutes. Oh well. Get em next time.

Had the day off today and am waffling about tomorrow-going in or not.

Bought a used snowblower today, also. Pics coming soon!

It'll be for the cottage (unless 99's decides to crap out, then I'll use it here). Getting kinda tired of trudging in and out through the snow whenever I go down there...

I stepped on the scale before the jaunt on the treadmill, I weighed in at 215 and after the treadmill and shower I weighed in at 215.5 so I should hit the 214 mark on Sunday if not before.

I can smell that new shirt yooperdave .

Good work thewoodlands ! Glad to see your getting close.

I need to get serious about putting more miles on my feet and eating healthier. Dropping a few pounds while working my muscles.

When the tractor comes in I have a lot of clean up work to keep me busy on my feet. That up and down of getting on and off the tractor, cutting with the chainsaws, etc. will burn some serious calories. I'm hoping you guys get the snow you want for sledding and most of it misses us. That way I can see more of the stuff on the ground I want to clean up. It will be a long process, that unfortunately, I will have to approach with a multi year time line.

I still have to do the soffit and fascia on the barn. But that can be done anytime between now and spring. Before the birds start nesting. That won't be far off though. o_O
