    1 workday down.

    4 more to go.

I had to babysit my favorite engineer today.

Hopefully he behaves the rest of this week. He's the type that has to play with his toys in his own corner otherwise he gets pouty.

    That's great to hear.

My parents reported that they have tons of ice and it's slippery. I know the woods are good for snowpack, and the trails have a nice thick icy base.

That's just fine with me. Let's bring that snow!

It's been sleeting for about four hours now. A slippery mess out there. We will see what the morning brings.

Am I the only one up this morning? 7:00 AM here and usually I am just catching up on everyone as they are off on the day's adventure. I hope everyone is alright out there. No shortage of coffee or Mountain Dew this morning? I have had my three glasses of water to wake me up. Porridge is on for campinspecter. Looks dry and cloudy outside. I made it through a full day of work so I am going back for another day.

I hope everyone is safe, warm and dry today.

We had about 1/8 inch of ice at the most but nothing for snow or wind so things are "gooder" back here in the Pines.

Just sat down to donate a pint. I wish I was accepting a pint as well but I asked, because there is a bar on the other side of the wall, they said I can't. :( Oh well. I have work to do later anyway. Long weekend is coming up. Hopefully some wood cutting in my future!:saw:

    all is good here dear.
Bad stuff stayed southwest and on the second wave southeast - hate to see the loss of life from these storms in the modern age of alert systems.

My oldest daughter is in front of a band judge getting graded. She rips on the Oboe. But she is like me gets very nervous.

Are you running the truck back in when you cut until your tractor comes in?

No. I don't think so. I have two piles of logs I brought out to the house a while ago. Mostly from clearing the barn site. White Pine and White Ash. Still haven't blocked them up yet. So I'll work on those. Also have a lot of downed trees from loggers I can begin clean up on. Buck them up and just stack the rounds until I get my tractor.
