Got some good news today!!!!!!

 

Right about the diet. Lost 42 lbs since 27 July. Never hungry. NO processed foods. No candy cake pie breads pasta rice etc

 

Almost no sugar here anymore. Maybe one Coke/month (when I do the shopping).
Bread is my Achilles heal, I guess. I've had oatmeal 2 days this week and 2 salads for dinner (different days ). The Rasp. vinegraitte we had in the fridge was from 2015, so that should tell ya' how long it's been since it's been used. Went in the trash, and used Ranch. I know, I know............
1/2 tsp of honey in my coffee with some creamer. Can't drink it black like I used to, but then I used to use several tsp of sugar each cup too.
Might do Tilapia and a salad for dinner. I'm tryin'.

So, it's been snowing most of the day and part of last night. We only got about 4", then it just turned to rain a bit ago.
Shoveled the walk, and the roof. Decided to just take the SUV across the rest of the driveway for anyone that needs to come visit. Worked pretty gooder.
I don't need to be keelin' ovah out in the snow. My wife MIGHT come lookin' for me after a bit.

Ok, more sh*t snow and ice (sleet) coming down. Should be a real treat in the morning. It is predicted to warm up and turn to rain, but I wouldn't want to be on the road right now. Just got home from acupuncture. Roads were getting greasy then.

 

Daughter feeling better. Went back to school today. I was able to get a bunch of little stuff done today. Took recyclable bottles and cans back, dump run, visited with my parents for a bit, moved and straightened some stuff up, cooked up a crock pot ....... aaaaa . Well, it was suppose to be a crock pot Lasagna. But I did not have all the ingredients. So I did some substituting and it came out gooder. They all ate it and said it was good. And I didn't eat any bread with it! Also cleaned up some rough cut 2x6 boards that had been used for the footer foundation of the barn, and then used for dryers for nicer/cleaner wood. Took all screws out and squared all the ends. Luckily they were originally 12 footers. So I was able to salvage a lot of 10 footers out of them and some 8 footers as well. They will work well for building stud walls for the tack room and office/stairs room in the barn. Had a cold one with my neighbor in the barn at the end of the day and then called it a day and went in for dinner. Stood next to wood boiler for about 10 minutes like I usually do when I come in.

Temps dropped here (outside) so we're back to winter now.
The kicker stove will be lit tonight after work and will be reading at the card table next to it!

Spring is here. However, the ground under the roads is winter so the roads were icy driving to work even though it was in the 40's and raining
