I changed gears today and worked on improving the view from the camp. Now I have some serious clean up work. Fire? :firepit:

Those pictures are so far away to take with my I-Phone. It does not look like much difference and work. But it was a lot of small trees to cut, from saplings to the some larger spruce that were not growing well down at the bottom of the hill. (To wet for them there I think,) And a real lot of branches to trim up. Then cutting them all up to make them an easy size to pull to the pile. I busted azz for about 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. And it is going to take a lot of work to get all that stuff piled up and burned. But that's okay, it will be several good work outs for me. I'm working on losing some of the weight that I gained over the winter.

Branch work can be rough. My shoulders get a good workout from that type of lifting. Does a good job of burnin it off… go easy.

I'm at work, thinking of the 2 Boston firemen that lost their lives Wednesday.

I saw a news report about that. :( There has been some bad fires lately. We have had quite a few around counties up in our area. Tough winter, fighting the cold seems to lead to many of them.

One of the toughest careers that I can think of and when it goes sideways they make the ultimate sacrifice.

No fair, I can't use both arms to lift and otherwise work at the brewing. Got to wait awhile and then it is brew time again.

I broke into a bottle of the apple/pear wine last evening, going to have another glass tonight.

I will be doing a stout and a mead once I'm mended. Got to get things all filled up for next winter. It will be coming up as soon as The Fourth of July is over.

Trying to take good care of my bride today. She's sicker than h*ll. After a long night and morning, she's pretty empty now too. Stomach flu.

    My turn next…

Already been through that here, the boss had it, it mutates as it is passed on.

Not any fun and watch for a relapse in about a week.
