Looks like my crackhead neighbors are gearing up for a huge party this weekend. Hopefully it will be cold enough to keep them contained indoors and I don't have drunks/druggies out wandering around the neighborhood at 3AM.

If its cold enough, wait until they all be in the house and then a "strategically" placed lawn sprinkler could keep 'em in there for quite a while!

We received 4 inches of the fluffy stuff so I plowed both driveways with the tractor today. It would be nice if we received some heavier snow which would make a good base for the snowmobile trails.

I watched the news last PM. They reduced the snowfall prediction. And true to form, we got more snow than predicted. We got hammered. Wet heavy snow. Very hard to move. Hard job digging out this Am. Even the bird feeders were plugged. Satellite tv dish was covered with snow so no reception. Power out during the night. I woke up suffocating because my BiPap stopped working due to the power outage. I can't breath much at all lying down. My back up power failed. I'll be getting a new one today if I can find one to handle the job.
Now another storm for tomorrow night and then again next Tuesday and Wednesday. Power went out again this morning at 10 and just now came back on. Thank goodness I finally have a generator. At least we kept the pellet stove going and the lights on. Trees are still heavy with snow so we have no idea how long the power will stay on. I did get a replacement power pack today.
"More than 48,000 CMP customers were still without power at 5:20 p.m. Friday, including 13,396 in Kennebec County. Downed power lines also were reported Friday morning around central Maine when 97,000 Mainers woke up with no power, including nearly 23,000 in Kennebec County. That number dropped throughout the day as crews worked around the state."

We are putting away the decorations today and de-cluttering the house. It feels great to get things back to normal. Nice and quiet too.
