Made a trash run early this morning. Talked with operator about weighing my 210C. Sure, bring it down. I then went to son's basketball game with the rest of the family. Good game, but they lost by four points. Oh well. They learn something every time.

Then I moved some firewood into the basement. And then drove the loader/backhoe down there. It turns out it weighs 15,740 lbs! o_O That's with grapple on with bucket inside of Grapple. Way more than I thought. Without grapple it is 14,040 lbs. So grapple weighs 1700lbs. Apparently the dry weight from Ritchie specs does not include backhoe and maybe the cab?

Anywho, I informed the two men who are planning to come and look at it by end of week. Now they know they can't transport it on a 14,000 lb trailer. :picard::rofl:

Then I went to work on the barn. My neighbor stopped down to help out and we finished the batten boards on this gable end. A little at a time.

Rainy overcast day here but still warm. Had a hard time making a day of it at work until I heard banging in the shop - peaked out the door to see hammers beating a pump shaft back into a bearing housing:picard:
I was like hey guys we took this pump out because the bearings were bad - why would we use hammers to beat the new ones in?
A few pieces of all-thread and some wrench turning all back together....didn't even need a hammer:D

Biggest disadvantage of those construction TLBs over the compacts. You need serious equipment to transport them.

That is too heavy for many of us. Usually a really good buy, but not if I can't lift it. My work around is to have them load it in the back of my van, then when I get home, I have a couple pails available to pour it into.

WWW saw his grandpa did the california wave in the 70's and asked what that was. Papa Dan (born 1896) answered "it means women drivers need their own lane" :rofl: :rofl:

That sucks...... no picture, but i just cut the tip of my index finger off today. Just from the nail up. It hurt, but wasn't that bad, until peroxide tonight (decided against alcohol) holy ***t!
You got some insane winds! Wow.... lucky that is all that got messed up!
They grip pretty good, Dawn has those stabelicers i think they are called. I recently picked up some micro spikes made by katoola at EMS that work great!

Our driveway is a sheet of ice, but much melted today. I am considering a spreader for the grizzly, I'll need to seed anyway in spring, but may opt for a simple push spreader. Currently looking for a small dump worth of sand I'll just cover with a tarp.

Not good my friend. You need those finger tips! I hope there will be no more of that stuff. noticed your typing is still intact unless you are dictating. You got to take care, big storm coming! Looks like my sons are going to be able to use their sleds this year. One bought three of them last year, had very less use for them with the light snow cover we had. This year looks different.

Caffeine going down. I need to move a little more firewood in. I've been doing one window full at a time and trying to keep it so I have at least 1/2 face cord down there all the time.

Then I will do some work on the barn today. 1/2 a day on it, I think.

Just loaded the stove. I forgot that it's going to get to nearly 40 today. I jammed it full, with beech, and a couple small ironwood and shag splits.

It'll get the house back up to nice and warm at least. Today's agenda, make my front storage box for the ATV, now that I have the front rack dimensions.

I'll be using the circular saw and the drill driver from my Ryobi 0ne+ tool kit I got for Christmas. Heck, I might even use the sawzall from the kit too. :D
