    Gotta be close now. Although a large dog fell through a pond not even a half mile from my house Friday I think and that got on the Milwaukee news. The dog's ok.

    Now, also a 40 yr old guy drowned after falling through the ice on lake Como near Lake Geneva( WI). That was the same day.

    Now at these temps. Ice forms quickly. Lake Ice - Ice growth

    Oh boy, get the slide rule out. At least that link is pretty clear cut.

    Ahhhh,... had to plow the drive for the first time this season. It felt good! More snow projected for the weekend, at least I got a head-start.
    My commute to work on the other hand..... :picard::hair:

    What kind of office, in Wisconsin of all places, warrants the donning of such apparel.....in December :hair::hair::hair:

    I wear a heavy duck canvas "Carhartt" style jacket now, but as far as staying warm if I have to go out on the floor, it's a "Woolrich" red and black plaid heavy shirt...and yep- don't matter to me if the shirt unnerneath is stripped or whatever color.

    Personally, I'm there to drive efficienct designs, not make a fashion statement.:thumbs:

    Morning all! Pete, that's cold. It's 0 out but no wind so I guess we're lucky? :)

    Brought in wood to the basement rack. Odd, I keep bringing in wood and it keeps disappearing. Maybe mice?

    Got part of this cold front from up north pushing some sub 60 degree temps to Florida!! :thumbs:

    Mornin' Hoarders. She's a sittin @ -1f here right now. VERY HEAVY bird traffic at the feeders. Crows, Juncos, Chickadees, Blue Jays and 1 red squirrel. Everybody "fluffed" to the max. Running both stoves in the cave and it is a very comfy 75. Weather guessers aren't committing to snow accumulations here this weekend, but a 85 miles to the SE they are predicting 4-8". They say TUG HILL N.Y. could see another 2'...................:bug:
    Everyone have a great and safe day and be sure to check up on any sick or elderly folks that you know of.
