Glad to hear you're healing well and getting up and about. Be careful in the snow you don't slip.

    Mmmm
    Ancovies...
    Pepperoni, octopus....
Ancovie and pepperoni on pizza.... even gooder.

At least you tried them. (More for me ;) )

I've known many who have never had anchovies and wouldn't try them.

Thank you. It has been a fun, but long project. Still lots to do, but after all the doors are on I can slow down and enjoy some down time while doing all the trim work like metal soffit, metal fascia, trim boards, etc.

bogieb that a cool feeding technique... when I got my nephew at 2 and 4 it was weird we went to a grocery store.. kids asked for green and white trees (cauliflower and broccoli) not crap.. bodies were craving vitamins.. I made whatever and rule was you could only not like 1 thing on your plate.. Jonny hated tomatoes so he always got 3 cherry tomatoes.. I knew he really didn't like something when he actually ate the tomatoes

You're talking to someone who started rehabbing her 8x8 bathroom September 2015 and still isn't done yet (the important stuff works anyway; toilet and shower). And hasn't gotten her window trim installed (window replaced in 2014). Thinking your definition of long, and my definition of the word are two totally different things :salute:

I really never liked yogurt even the really sweet stuff until about 4 years ago. I started eating the fruit sugar stuff and now I am onto Greek plain yogurt. I really like it now. I still can't stand canned french cut green beans.

Well, that was in the 60's and both parents worked long hours as engineers (my mom was pretty much a pioneer that way) - they didn't have time for tom-foolery. Plus they were raised up during the depression (mom lived in a pickup truck with her two brothers and parents for a couple of years as they migrated along farm routes for work), so they figured any food was good food.

Can't say I disagree with them. I've made several meals that didn't taste too good, but can only remember 2 times (in 37 years after leaving the folk's house) that I didn't save the leftovers and eat them. Didn't have to like them, they just had to not be totally disgusting. People look at me funny when I tell them I've eaten plenty of stuff I didn't like - just because I bought it :loco: .

Clear, cold, frosty and very windy this morning. I tried taking a picture of the mountains in the sunshine yesterday but it didn't turn out that well. We had an overcast sky while these mountains were out in the sunshine. No clouds this morning but we could get some form of moisture tonight.

So, the other night at my daughters school play, her former preschool teacher was there. I had never met her but heard many good things about her. I saw her helping to set up a folding table and thought wow, that is really strenuous for a pregnant gal to flip a table over like that when like 6 months pregnant.

We met a few minutes later and I enthusiatically asked her "when are you due"?. She said "I'm not"... I apologized and tried to give her a hug and she stood there stone cold. Excused myself quickly after that.

Oh dear. I hate when I do that too. Hopefully you won't have to meet socially again.
