Mornin' All. 34 here this a.m. and a 60% chance of rain. They are saying that the warm weather we are experiencing will come to a end this weekend. Supposedly snow is coming on Monday. Breakfast ritual on the go and then out to the shop for ????????. Everyone have a great and safe day.

overcast skies this morning with showers. Our trip yesterday went well with mostly sunny skies. The Corolla is getting 56 mpg on the highway with the snow tires on so we are feeling pretty good about that. Got my second pair of socks finished so I will be starting a new project today. campinspecter is busy doing laundry and he is going to move wood down to the basement today between rain showers.

The hills behind town have a fresh coating of snow on them. We noticed the higher hills had a frosting of snow yesterday. We might be in for a cooler time for a couple of days.

Looks like we may be in for some snow this weekend ourselves.
It's been warm-ish lately and cold starting fires is getting a bit old. I'm using up all my firestarters.
Is the Corolla a hybrid, or just plain fuel efficient?

I believe fishingpol was referring to the "topping out" ceremony - where an evergreen bough is attached at the highest point, after the last beam is placed atop a structure.

Went out for dinner with my folks on Sunday, so they could see my booths for the first time.

Me and Amy on the left, my dad on the right. Mom was taking the pic.

Doing an IT transition at the plant the past 3 days, most everything is working except the 2-3 most important applications for doing the actual business of generating electricity and being able to bill for it:headbang:
Top it off with one of the guys finding a NG stop valve leaking by - it's going to be a SOB to changeout

Just efficient. There's been no corolla hybrid in North America. I think the only hybrid corolla is overseas in England, and they only started making them in 2016.

My wife's birthday is today. I left work an hour early, got her a rose on my way home, and took her out to dinner.

We're watching Survivor, sitting in the stove room, with a nice beech and basswood fire.

Some shop time this evening with my son. I forged out this hook to hold a cast iron muffin pan. It was good practice of symmetry and form.

My son wanted to make something, so we figured a handmade Christmas tree ornament. I helped him with the band saw, but he did most of the rest of it.

Just plain fuel efficient. We have always found that the actual gas mileage is better that what is advertised.
