Time to try and get some work done on the barn this afternoon. Getting some caffeine in me right now. No help today either, but the weather looks like it will cooperate for a while. Maybe I'll get 5 hours of work in this afternoon.

Dropped off some brownies for work tomorrow then took a load of tree limbs to the tree dump.

Since I've heard rumors that winter is coming, I loaded up a truck load full of some good stuff while the dogs went for a run.

Yeah, there's rumblings that this winter could return to actual snow again.

Okay. I'll take it. The weather cooperated and I was able to get some work done on the other end of the barn. Built the center section of the other gable end.

It wouldn't have taken me as long as it did but by the time I carry everything up there, get set up, and then carry the boards up there I need. :picard:My body is feeling this project!

    I need some cheese again.

Keep pounding it out while the weather holds! Can't believe it has held as long as it has here!

Yes. I sort of did a "hybrid" or "combination" type barn. I did a full concrete footer and foundation wall around the outside and concrete footers with concrete piers for my post on the inside.

Will do! The weather has been "holding" as far as real cold/snow. But it hasn't been holding as far as rain!

Insomnia paid a visit over a couple hours ago. Dang!

Work today will be to wrap up a couple install jobs started last week. Nice to get closure on those jobs.
Will also visit the metal shop and have time to fab a convection top for the el dorado and give it a shot tonight....?

Hope everyone has a productive day.

I was browsing another forum today and the off topic section had a wood stove thread. I was interested and may be able to help.

One poster said something along the lines of wood smoke will give you cancer and asthma. In the very next line they said grandma heated with wood for over 80 years. Um.....am I they only one who sees the irony there?
