    Piers dug! :dex: 8 of them. Finished them in the dark with neighbor's help. Nice that the JD 210C has work lights! It was getting really dark by 7:10. Finished digging them about 8:00.

    We went to the county fair tonight. We watched the oxen pull up til 7,200 lbs on the sled. They probably pulled a little more, but we had to move on. These teams were massive. It was quite impressive watching them get lined up.

    It was a crisp 50 degrees and clear, perfect night to be there.

    The big pumpkin weighed 2,075 lbs. The competition started around 1985 with 400 lb pumpkins. It is almost a science now.

    I like the Agri side of it and the sportsmens lodge, but the commercial side you can't get away from it.

    Not sure if you saw my pics of our county fair....we have a beautiful round barn and tons of tractors...old and new on display. That makes the fair for me too.

    Got muh orl changed. Should be the last night of wrenching. Wife has a ton of woodworking projects lined up for me next. "I can build you anything you want" has bit me firmly on the azz.
