2 point conversion in there? I didn't watch the game, but that would get you your extra point. Touchdown with 2 point conversion gives you 8. Then field goal. 3. 8+3=11

 

Maybe they had a FG & TD and went for two (instead of kicking the extra point). Or, they had a Safety and 3 FG's. Or a FG, a Safety and a TD and missed the extra point. All kinds of ways to get 11 - just not very common.

 

Caffeine going down. Another busy day ahead. Should be enjoyable though. Not at the real job! Weather looks like it will be good. Close to 80! No rain. Good for dirt work. Another neighbor of mine, who retired this year, is going to come up with his mini-excavator and dig me a small width trench for running my water and power line from the house. He has a small ditching bucket for that machine which will be better than digging it with my 2 foot wide bucket. Between that, starting the process of installing drain tile around the foundation, and then going to see the Amish to pick up the rest of the lumber at 4-ish, I will have plenty to do!

They had a 2 point conversion................Morning coffee and toasted bagel going in, then out we go to move some wood and do some landscaping.

Coffee's mighty gooder this monin... Yet another crazy good music day ahead. Playing with the full Bishop Avenue Band at Drummore Bay Concert Hall in Phippsburg tonight. This was never supposed to be anything more than jamming in the basement here once in a while. Grateful beyond words. This should be the last for a while, and perfect timing... temps are gonna drop like a stone this weekend and I'm long over due getting back to my firewood obsession. The woods are calling me...

 

What happened to the brisk five mile run?

My doctor has been bugging me about my high cholesterol for awhile. I already eat healthy and exercise regularly. It's genetic and there's nothing I can do so he wants to put me on a statin. I've read lots of bad things about statins but he's insisting the medical evidence proves the pros outweigh the cons. I'm trying to make an educated decision so that I can be around to play with the grandkids when they show up in another 20 years or so.

Anyone have experience with statins?

 

Tomorrow we decided we would put some kindling and some wood in, after that the whole days open for whatever work I want to do.

It looks like Saturday night could be our first night in the mid to high 30's.

 

I'm on one, have been for years. My numbers are now right where they ought to be. There seems to be more and more evidence to put folks on the statins proactively, not reactively.

 

I thought I heard that through the woods today! "Stinny. Stinny. Come into the woods. We have a chair in the snow for you........ Stinnyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....."
