I am really late to the group this morning. That's what happens when your time zone is 3 to 4 hours difference. Another week of work planned for me. When the rain lets up this week, campinspecter will try to go for another load of wood.

She likes to help stack, but not fond of the saw. Good ideas about the new saw tho.

We got some rain today...way overdue! It wasn't very significant but it's better than nothing.

I was thinking earlier, with the dry summer and drought conditions we had since June, I could have bucked, split and had ready to go splits for this
    season.
I can just imagine what the winter will bring with the summer we just had. I'll be shoveling and blowing for sure.

Spent a part of the day loading and moving some Ash logs to the Amish saw mill. He bought them from me, after I bought a bunch of lumber from him for our barn. He bought a couple thousand or so bd. ft. of Ash logs from me before that. What comes around goes around. Right!

Our "inch" of forecasted rain, became a tenth of an inch of rain. Just enough to get the grass wet, but no the soil. It was overcast all day, so whatever we got is being absorbed. Cool weather is anticipated for the weekend. Highs may not get to 60, light frost possible.

Three trips today with that trailer filled as best I could without the logs rolling off. I had a few roll off. But we took our time and we have one half a load left.

I measured them before they were hauled away. Time to figure up the board feet for all these logs.

Not to worry. Our "clear and sunny" day started raining as soon as I had to go onto a roof at work!!

Nope. That is my neighbor's pickup. Older 2000 Ford. ( I think that is the year.) diesel 7.3 liter. He has two of them. One single rear wheel and one dually. Same model year. His dually is down for now as he needs to do a little work to the springs and brakes. I asked him if he wanted the job to haul them over for me and he also helped me out a little while I loaded them. Good neighbor to have. Oh. That is his trailer too! LOFL

He's a trooper for sure. I'm glad he's still as active as he can be.
How are the 4 legged doing? I remember seeing pics of them walking the trails with their bear bells on.
    so cute

Confused about football scores. Broncos game on Sunday they went from 23 to 34, HUH? How did they gain 11 points? 3 field goal, 6 touchdown +1 field, where is the extra point?

For once our "inch" was more than .01" - got close to 3" of rain. Then the humidity was 90% overnight with fog, which means none of the moisture evaporated (like the 1/64" I got on Saturday did).
