Not much today but I feel like I did when I had walking pneumonia years back, if I don't have more zip in the zap by the end of next week, I'll make a doctor's appointment.

Weather let up today and only 81F for the high, got some stuff fixed at work that's been on the back burner due to upper 90's all summer.

Working on a on a compensation package to present to my new employer - plan on bending them over for a good rodgering..as the plant owners want me at whatever cost

 

Well, surprise surprise! We had a window of 6-8 hours with no rain today so I was able to drop n chop 1 tree...I thought it was a Elm, but once it was on the ground I realized it was Ash...and dry as can be

 

So what did you get her for her birthday....a Husky or a Stihl. Maybe an Echo?

Worked a chunk of the day, but I managed to do a little hackberry splitting while the dogs ran around at the processing area.

Brought home some shoulder wood to start filling the second rack. Mainly basswood and silver maple. Not quite half way filled but I ran out of energy.

Hopefully I can get it finished up after church in the morning.

Rottiman, we sure did enjoy the game! Badgers won, but it wasn't the stomping people expected.

Getting face time with the owner of the company was a good thing, so along with perfect weather, an easy drive, a win, and time spent with my wife, you can't go wrong
We even hit up our town's famous harvest festival for our favorite 80's new wave cover band that played. Well, at least the last 1.5 hours of their show.

Eric VW , my tractor is fixed, we had to buy the longer of 2 belts listed for my lawnmower. All good! Fixed for $20. I'm just waiting for a little more time to pass before I get on the tractor this am.

It's tempting to look at season end lawnmower deals though. A new 42" simplicity ztr with an 18 hp Kawasaki v twin is going for 1850.

 

OJ will be happy he can stop for his next slow motion car chase.!

You're a good friend, hopefully those rear drum brakes are not a pita. Oh how I hate drum brakes. so simple, yet all that hardware.

 

That's a nice surprise. A little better wood, dry, and much easier to split. Win win win!


I like elm though, its good stuff, and no worry of spreading EAB.

 

Bushings on the dingo, then gonna tinker with a ms362c, then do some organizing at my wood lot. Really messy over there right now.

 

And off to get the replacement ratchet...
