Been sick the last few days so been kinda putting around and not getting as much done as I would like. Feeling better this morning though. Gonna work on a few chainsaws and maybe my dump truck this morning. Then split a little wood and ride my motorcycle up to a local fair. Enjoy your day boys!

Same as AJtree88 , kinda taking it slow today. Small projects with the sign "no rush" attached to them.

Cleaning out the IS from last spring, getting ready for a flue cleaning.
Oh, I hung a picture for my wife today too.
Heading to Yankee Candle later for some fall scents to
burn in the tart burner. Hanging out on Hoarders in-between all of the above (with beer in hand)
enjoy the holiday weekend fellas and ladies

Another great music day playing in Boothbay. I'm spent. The guys have drafted me now to play with them at a big bash at the Kennebec Tavern in Bath next Sunday, Sept 11th. 1 to 6 outdoors. 4-5 bands, sound company dealing with the chaos... 5th year. Maine musicians love playing at this annual event... sort of an end of the summer party. If you're in Maine... this is a free concert and a lot of fun.

Kind of a slow day around here. Slept in until 830 and missed church. Stupid allergies and headache last night.

Did some landscaping jobs in the yard. Installed two spot lights...one for the fountain in the pond and one for the new flag were putting up. Whew it was a chore!

It was a tough job but someone had to do it! :)

I cut Flickas hair today. I'm not very good....but when I was done you could see that's she a dog...barely!

Tore out two old railroad ties along the garage just below my racks I use for my shoulder wood.

I didn't realize just how bad they were until I pulled them off the tie below.

They literally fell apart in my hands!

Fired up the Stihl to cut one of them to size, drilled holes and spiked them down with rebar, then back filled them with more dirt. Those son of guns are a tad heavy for one guy. Uffda!

My bride has already laid claim to the area. In about 8 months I will have tulips under my feet next to the wood racks. :)

Possibly... the sound company does a live 2 track recording along with a video, which he syncs up afterward. His live mixes are really good quality considering they aren't multi-tracked (and re-mixed afterward) I'll see if he'll post a few clips to YouTube...

I know that feeling as well, still get it a bit but not until November...peak power season is over around mid October and outage season warps early November
Got a bazillion things to deal with after that with a new operating company taking over the plant.

I might "cheat" this heating season and plumb in a smaller propane tank - haven't burned a drop of it since 2008-9 so maybe I'm due for a break
Still have 3-4+years on hand seasoned
Gonna have to plan an FHC mortgage burning party as well - almost there:makeitrain"

No shortage of a party going on at the wonderful neighbors. Pretty sure the cops showed up last night at 02:30...for the third night in a row.

They are currently racing a SxS up and don't the road...screaming obscenities.

    :picard:

I found a couple beer cans in my yard this morning. I was a good neighbor and returned them...
