WOW...:bug:... I just felt my first Earthquake... I think... it just came across the news to say they felt it too.... But I was just eating my breakfast sandwich and things start moving...(I first thought it was the cat under the chair...then it felt like I had that drunk feeling where the world is moving, but your not)... This was weird....I'll be curious to know more about that....

    Edit:
5.6 quake out of Pawnee, OK

Hinerman , Did you feel it?

When there is one, there may be more! Hang up some wind chimes, they will wake you if you are sleeping when the quake acts up again. I was in one out in Ca. The ground looked like someone shaking a blanket. power lines swaying etc. What a rush.

I just acquired this National Pressure canner, circa 1920-ish. I watched some videos on restoring it and replacing the pressure gauge and jiggler for about $40. I'm tempted to just admire it in original condition. It is cast aluminum with chrome plated brass thumb screws. No ID on what size. Some sizes were stamped on the lid. The name was changed to Presto in 1939. The seal is machined, no rubber ring on this one. I have some research to do.

    Anyone using this type?

Chilling after a long work day. Not enough energy to do anything but sit and watch a little TV. Weather was beautiful here today, and looks like it will be nice tomorrow as well.

I have one near abouts like it up in the garage - date stamp 1920's, after I pressure tested it with one of my test instruments at work I found a weight for the bubbler on ebay.
Use a bit of Vaseline on the machined faces at you'll be in business

at least going to good hands a young kid that wants an old Chevy...the whole family came to look at it last weekend and I worked with the kids father on the price - he wanted that truck so bad
Probably steered it home with the joystick between his legs:rofl:
Truck always sounded awesome with true duals and cherry bombs

Had a guy come in today to grind 6 stumps, biggest was about 26" the rest were around 16" . Ended up costing me 275.00 which I thought was reasonable.

My old truck is now today. Took a deep cut, but it was time to say good by to it. Too many repairs for something I wasn't using. Only drove it a bit of 10,000 miles in the 7 years I owned it. Son now lives here and he has a truck if we need it.

Last 2 mornings have been in the 40's (45 yesterday, 49 right now). Haven't had to have the window fans going for a couple of days either.

    Congrats on the weight loss!

We spent yesterday cleaning out the house of a family member who passed, all the big stuff is out. After that we had a nice meal at our cousins house (it was a gooder one) we finally made it back late last night.

I have some dead pine that needs to be bucked up so that will be one of my jobs today.
