    From the sounds of it, i might not have enough time for wood if i get this jobber.
    Might have to give away what ive got that isnt split.
    Trying to sell wood around here that isnt split is about like trying to sell a used car for new retail, no mater the price.

    Nope. Errr, yup. The backhoe. :thumbs: First I started putting in 8' cedar post left over from last year. Not sharpened. So dig 3' hole with backhoe, place dirt right next to hole. Put post in, back fill with boot enough to hold post, then carefully use hoe to push dirt back in and tamp down. Once I did it enough times last year I got pretty good at it. Ordered 100 more of those recently but guy was behind. Found Amish guy with 8' post sharpened. Bought 100 of those. Practiced putting those in. Get them started by lifting them and jabbing them in by hand. Place a couple rocks around them to help steady them. Then use bucket on tractor to push them down as far as it will. Then use flat, heavy steel bottom plate on quick attach on bucket to pound them in! Works great!:thumbs:

    Yah, but not just any toe...I've heard that after losing a big toe one has to almost re-learn to walk again.
    I have a bud that runs toe :D truck, he likes it well enough, except being on call all the time...and sometimes the long crazy hours in the winter...

    Back in the 80's, I picked a guy up off the center line of the highway. He hit two deer with his new Harley, killed them both. He was a tow truck driver that later ended up loosing both legs to an idiot that ran them over while being on a call.
    With the drivers that are in your area, you are presented with a huge risk. Consider it carefully!

    Well eventually its going to rot and not be of any use.
    This job im after isnt just a weekend deal..

    This is full time, late nights, all day, OT every day.... If it all falls through, i dont see my self have any time at all to
    mess with firewood.
