That's the problem, you cant hide. One of 'em will getcha , either the wife or her "gifts". I know this. :bug::rofl:

Coolest thing in a while tonight. Had a A-10 warthog come screaming over the ridge behind the house, right after I got home tonight. Probably not more than 1500 ft. above my head.
I told the wife if I had the chance to drive anything on this planet, it would be that.

My wife and I went on a chartered sunset catamaran cruise for her work party off the coast last evening. The wind was only 5 mph and the ocean was like glass. This storm cloud went west of us on the way out.

This was the view on the way in. This was a great way to end the hot work week.

Oddly enough, that's my favorite kind of sardines, and I don't really like mustard.

For you guys thumbing your noses at sardines or kippered snacks, my wife does the same thing. But she knows how good they are for you, so she had no problem with me eating them.

And no, I don't have to sleep on the couch when I do eat those things :)

A-10' s are sweet machines. My cousins place is just outside of Fort McCoy in western Wisconsin. You get flybys all the time if you spend some time in the woods.

Eaa fly in is a few miles north of me, going on now. There's all sorts of cool aircraft in the air even over my house now. Just saw a couple corsair's fly by a few minutes ago.

Took some baked goods out to the Museum booth at the Fair today.

Snapped a few pictures that I thought you might like.

Lots of antique tractors on display in front of the round barn.

The inside of the round barn showing the interior grain silo.

Looking up as I stood inside of the silo at the center of the barn.

History of the barn. The barn was moved to the Fairgrounds from a nearby farm.

Each year they have a nice dusplay of antique tractors.

Probably about half of them are shown here.

A slighty newer one with its "little" grain wagon.

This is today's ride. No baffles in dairy tankers if you ever wondered why they always hold up traffic. All that fluid sloshes around and makes it extremely top heavy... AND I LOVE IT! But then I tend to migrate to dangerous jobs.

Everybody I work with is fantastic a good bunch of people and from what I can tell good owners. The equipment is getting replaced with newer trucks soon too. In the next week or so I will be in a new peterbuilt sleeper of my own on a very nice dedicated account that keeps me home! Can't wait right now I'm slip seating so I never know what truck I'll be in on what day. It's probably the easiest job I have had aside from the driving and some very very tight dock areas but it's all hands off as the milk plants so the unloading.

It's kinda like getting hit in the rear of your car if you let the fluid start sloshing around and if your not careful when atopping the surge forward can actually push you into and through an intersection. 50,000 lbs of milk is A LOT  . Glad I'm not lactose intolerant! :D

While out in the yard, I saw this giant ichneumon wasp. Not harmful to humans, but the larva are parasitic to wood wasps - and I have several large rotting stumps near where she was resting. It is a couple inches long, not even counting the ovipositor. Looks wicked, but was very docile as I got my camera within inches to take a close up shot. She is resting on the corner of my large 4 wheel dumping cart, so that isn't a small corner she is sitting on.
