    Knice dude! Enjoy! Ever cooked a steak directly on the coals? BEST EVER!!!

    Just got back from bro in-laws house and split (by maul and wedge) 2, 4ft x 10" round pieces into quarters.
    It kicked my butt cuz there were a couple knots that didn't want to cooperate! Looking forward to November
    so I can burn some of this in the firepit with a cigar and bourbon.....c'mon winter!! :smoke:

    I built a small wood shed on Wednesday for a buddy last week. Got the pic from my wife's Pinterest. Came out nice, galv. corrugated roof, pt materials and enough room to use as a dog house in case he gets jammed up.

    My son found a piece of punky wood at camp today and carved "The Thing". He used "primitive" stone tools.:cool:

    Yes, but not tonight. Wife wanted to try the new griddle. Did some taters and Vidalia onions. With about a pound of butter. Maybe some garlic too.

    Last day at the steel mill job, then some tree work on Friday and probably Saturday. I have new blades, anvil, sheave and belt to put on my chipper too. Just gotta squeeze in a few beers and some seat time on one of my two wheel toys and the weekend will be set.

    The plans were just a photo, I made up a stock list from what I could see. It cost $400 in materials. Basically it's a 4x8 platform and the 4x4 legs were 5-1/2' in the front and 4-1/2' in the back.

    I HAVE to get the yard mowed tonight. It's out of control, but we've gotten 1" of rain seems like every day for a week....usually in the evening (the only time I have to mow). Everything is so green. Normally this is when things brown up and you get a couple weeks off mowing, but instead it looks like April out there. The alfalfa field across the road is about a week or two away from its 3rd cutting.

    Been stinking hot, humid and DRY here. Supposed to get some relief the next 2 days both in temp and moisture. COMPLETE fire ban in this area.
