The FHC members through me request that you record your recliner hours on your vacation.:dex:

Ummmm. Okily dokily. Let's see here.

About 100 fence post to install...... maybe average of 3 post / hour = 33.33 hours. Round up to 35 ish

    14 hours a day X 7 days = 98 hours.

    98 hours - 35 ish hours = 63 ish hours.

63 ish hours - finding, buying, and transporting said post, trash/dump run, more rock collection and discarding, grass mowing, weed trimming, garage cleaning, spending time with sister, and wife, and kids at movies and a few meals and then......... [IMG]
See. Should work out just dandy.:wacky:At least I'm not working. :p

I think this is more like your vacation time being spent than in a recliner!

Nope. That will be later. I'm going to get the horse area fenced in for the wife so she can move her horse home. Maybe by the end of July. Hope to start barn foundation sometime in August. Most likely second half of the month. (Depends on how busy it is at work with overtime, etc.) Then hopefully have foundation and all ground work done and start building in middle of September or early October. Some of it depends on how finances are at time. Try to borrow none, or as little as possible. We will see how timber harvest goes and the overtime. I would really like to have the roof on and it all enclosed by Nov. 1st. I'm starting to have doubts about my Amish builder. Went to retrieve the estimate he promised and it wasn't done. And I was two weeks past when I said I would be there. Needless to say, he may not get the job. :picard:

    Must be work related?

Whenever I have to work, I very rarely get a good nights sleep. Last week was easy to blame it on the extended 4th celebrators (they kept blowing off fireworks).

I usually get up the same time no matter if a work day or a day off; actually sleep less on the weekends, so its not like I'm getting up too early for work.

Guess there's only one way to fix it, huh?

Caffeine going down. I'm on vacation and my wife has to work all week. :picard: Just the way it worked out for her training. That means I have kids all week. So I have to try to get some work done while keeping an eye on them. Should be interesting. Luckily the wife only works until 3. The good thing about it is she will bring in some extra money that will help pay for the fencing.

That Ash finishes up to be some good looking lumber. I installed a few hundred feet of it in my house that was harvested just a few miles from here. I found it hard to mill a fancy edge on it as it seemed like it wanted to splinter across the face no matter how lightly I was milling. I left it flat stock and think it looks pretty good.

Could very well be! But I really don't mind going to work; it's just going to work without a good night's sleep, ya know?

Was there any sign of EAB on that ash? You might want to get those logs super hot to ensure any critters are dead before moving "firewood" into the state of Wisconsin.

I wouldn't want you to get a fine, or bring a pest here.;). Technically you can't legally bring wood from outside the state, unless a few precautions have been met.
