    Warm and muggy all day. My bride and I bought a couple trees for the front yard and I planted them. A Maple and a Paper Birch.

    Then I worked in the deck and railing while she was busy weeding and seeding some bare patches in the back yard.

    Got out the pole saw and trimmed some trees and then helped the neighbors do some of there's . Nice people but not too careful with stuff.

    Question: "Can I borrow your saw?"
    Answer: "How about I just come over and trim them for you?"

    Now I'm putting to use the new deck handrail.

    AT 530 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS
    WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL HAD MOVED ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. OVER
    THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN BRASHER FALLS TODAY BASED ON RAIN
    GAGE REPORTS.

    SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
    NORFOLK...MADRID...NORWOOD...LAWRENCEVILLE...CHIPMAN...
    BRASHER FALLS...BUCKTON...CONVERSE...AND IRONTON.

    Just finished mowing some of the grass... As the rain came in from a popcorn shower... I saw it forming, so timing was in my favor...

    Blech! Socked in with thick wildfire smoke, eerie gold haze I remember too well from Highpark Fires in 2012. Also it's hot in the house, but I don't want to let the smoke in.
