Here are some pics of the second day of the garage construction. The roof is completed, the windows and doors are installed, windows are trimmed out (outside only of course) soffit and fascia all done.

Bad news is where the garage is being built caught the brunt of that storm! Winds and hail with some trees and limbs down.....
Good news is, it didn't affect the garage at all!

78 chickens went to the butcher today. Averaged 6.1 lbs each. Had one 8 lb-er.

Just need to get a few more sold and we're eating for free.

65 more go in next week. Ordering 170 more tomorrow.

Yeah, most dogs don't like fireworks. Luckily mine were fine as they were tired and slept on the boat. They both only won't up a little at the end of the grand finale. Too many rapid booms to sleep through I guess.

Here's an almost amazing pic I snapped while cruising the lake in the classic nautique. One of 2 dogs perfectly in the pic will have to suffice. William loves the boat. Badger had his head in the gunwale looking for a ball.

Here's Badger hamming it up on the pontoon waiting for the water ski show to start.

After 5 days off, going back to work was a little tough.

Hahaha! Do you think I should make them turn over that one section so it isn't upside down? Or is it that way so I can read it from the roof when I'm up there shoveling?

I should tell you that I'm not involved in the building of it. I will only be involved when it comes time for the billing!

But yeah, I would help out as much as I could.

Oh man, these little sleep nights are adding up! Eyes are still cloudy, still yawning, body is sore and another work day is to start shortly. About noon, the yawns kick in again big time.
    C'mon coffee!

The no "white" foods has started thewoodlands . Well. Except for the occasional slice or two of Pizza. Not giving Pizza up! But cutting bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, etc. by 80%, or more! Will also be cutting my sugar intake by more than 50%. :faint:

62 F here this morning. Overcast. Looks like rain or showers anyway. Had one cup of coffee and looking forward to another. Thinking bacon and eggs for breakfast. Nothing special on the agenda, Just another lazy summer day.

Picked up a 16' extension ladder off CL last night, I plan on using it for the slabbing rails for my mill. Cheap and dual purpose. Hope to assemble the mill by week's end and maybe line up a pine test piece on Saturday.

Tonight, cut the hay, ughh grass. We are in a wicked drought already. Friday pack the remaining footing for retaining wall.
