I have a 4 day weekend. Sanded and stained the stairway to the deck yesterday. I'm gonna wash and wax the wife's car his morning then sand and stain the picnic table and chairs this afternoon. I need to go back to work so I can take it easy.

The concert Weds nite was better than I was hoping. The seats were only 20 rows back in the first section. Unreal. Dave Mason stole the show entirely. Just awesome. The Doobies had 8-10,000 people singing "backup" vocals in many of their well known songs. Quite a treat to hear that. They also sounded great and got an encore even (not usual for opening acts) ... then Journey thundered out and wailed away with some arena rock. Tim and I decided we'd had enough after 3 songs... hehehe... the volume had to be louder than howitzers going off 3 feet away. It was stupid loud... and I know loud. Sounded better as we got about 500' away. The rain stopped about a half hour before the show and blue sky started showing. Nice.

Yesterday, the guys and I had a ball... again... playing here in the cave. Still can't believe they come all the way here to play when they're so busy playing paying gigs all over the state the rest of the time. Maybe it's cause my honey feeds em... hmmm... ;)

Anyone know how to get more hours in the day? I could use about 6 extra per day. Let me know.

It can't be done. I've looked into it. Unless, of course, you sleep much less. But I get miserable then.:picard:

Got an early start on the paying job today and wrapped up early. Time for the real work to begin.

Going to replace spark plugs and fuel filter and sharpen blades on mower. Mow yard. Spray some roundup. Feed and water the chicken herd. Cook dinner. Should be able to get that done by 5...then round 2 after dinner.

    Right there with ya!

The motorcycle to work today, worked all day, got back home, had dinner, and got on the tractor to mow the lawn. I then got the weedwacker out and finished the trimming.

Tomorrow's a boat day. This weekend will be HOT, but with getting ready for the long 4th of July weekend up north, I can't go out both days.
