    So coming home from the store. This guy is spray weeds with one of those little homeowner all in one unit sprayers... He had safety glasses on...:thumbs:.... But also had shorts and sandals on....:wacky:...

    My wife got home a little while ago. I cried at the sound of her voice. I felt so relieved that she was home, and also that the loneliness had been abated. She wasn't supposed to return until Monday night.
    No....not hernia related. Chronic lower back issue that reemerged over the last week, thought it was all good, and some light cutting Saturday morning pushed it over the edge.
    The pups went into hibernation.... They stayed in the living room and didn't mess. They literally shut down their bodies over the 24 hour period- they knew I was hurt, and that their momma wasn't here to help. They checked on me every few hours, especially if they heard my sobs.
    Thanks to all for checking up on me. If I'm able to get to the chiropractor tomorrow, I should start to loosen up quick.
    I'll report those results tomorrow.

    thank fully your wife came home. You really need someone to call on in cases like this especially when you can't move. I am guessing she gave you heck for not calling her home early?

    this actually gave me nightmares about something like this happening to my mother who lives alone. She is so independent that she won't get her Lifeline hooked up because she doesn't want to bother anyone.

    Holy man Eric VW it would seem that the both of us are afflicted at the same time with the same symptoms!
    Saturday morning, out of nowhere, my back blew out. Spent the rest of the day just getting worse...even had to leave Mass right after communion as I couldn't stand, sit, kneel!

    Went outside and walked around for the rest of the time. It got better today but now this last two hours is getting worse again.

    But by the sounds of it, nowhere near as bad as you have it....although I've been there in the past, too.

    Hope you feel better brother!

    She was visiting her brother's family in Cleveland....they had plans sat night, and I actually told her late last night, and her and her mom left out @12 today. Me not eating for almost 48 hours and the plight of two dogs not eating/ getting walked worried her to all ends, but it was snowing/sleeting this morning in Cleveland, so they had to wait til it stopped.
    I am thankful she could get home when she did. My phone was almost completely dead and the charger was in the kitchen- no getting to that, plus we use StraightTalk, and it just so happened my air card was up @ midnight tonite. I was solely at His Mercy after that. Very difficult times, to say the least. I won't lie- my mind wandered to dark places a few times. Let's all be thankful things work out according to His Will.
