Very true. My parents never made any plans for their passing. After my mom passed away my father got hooked on gambling.. and blew through all his money. It took a while and thank God for his Veterans Aid that I was able to get him.

The two drivers of the Bud truck and the driver of the smaller truck were taken to the hospital.

I've been to one accident when a truck turned over in the ditch by some houses in Louisville N.Y., by the time they responded to the accident, one resident had his basement half full of cases of beer.

I think we received 8 inches of snow from this storm. I'll have the tub tomorrow.

You got even more than we did. I think ours was like 5 inches. I didn't actually measure it though.

We got 6-8 then rain on top. It is no fun cleaning up the driveway. Snow thrower could barely deal with it on the slowest speed. Snow boulders at the end the from the town plowing. Dug out the hydrant and then they came by again....

I just got back home from my parents. I shoveled them out and fired up my father's Honda snow blower. Boy those are nice machines. Got them all cleaned up. Glad I had the day off today. Turned out the dog had an infection in her ears. We thought it must have been mites biting her in the ears. But vet says no mites, yeast infection. Drops once a day for the next week and see how that goes first.

Did your dogs ears stink something nasty? That is a sure sign. Vet had us doing daily maintenance wiping out the dogs ear with a cotton markup pad dipped in vinegar.

Any day I wake up alive and well is another day I have been blessed with by my maker. Now if I could just make the most of them I would be doing ok. Hope you have a great day
