    I'm going to let everyone who likes peanut butter and ice cream in on a secret. Melt a couple tablespoons of peanut butter in the microwave for 30 seconds then drizzle over ice cream. It's hella good.

    I finished a new piece in the shop tonight. It was an old school desk top, now an artist storage box. These desks are usually hard maple, but this one was cherry. It was a pick at a barn sale.

    Ot is finished in semi-gloss polyurethane and paste wax. The handles were made from some cut offs of the original top. I had an old bottle that fit in the inkwell hole. All repurposed wood.

    Another cold wet day here. We received about 5" of snow yesterday and at some point during the night it has changed to rain. Now raining with the temp JUST above the freezing mark. Sitting here ingesting the morning Java and enjoying the fact that I do not have to go out and travel anywhere in it. Well, time to read the paper, everyone have a great and safe day................................:thumbs:
