    Went on a kayak float on a nearby lake, caught a few bass and one hoss sunfish, decided to explore one of the feeder creeks. Made it ~ 1/4mi up before the water was too shallow walked in ankle deep water for a ways and found a glass bottle stuck in the bank.

    Rinsed it off and could discern "HEP with vitamin B1" "Get HEP for yourself" - that makes for a good google search:rofl: :lol:

    The ad campaign seems funny now, but HEP B was discovered in 1967, HEP C in 1989.

    When I first read it I was thinking these were energy drinks from the 1940's?

    Caffeine going in. Time to prepare French toast for breakfast for the family. The maple syrup from this year is delicious! :drool: Unfortunately I then have to go to work. :(

    I had a funeral yesterday and thought for sure there would be a message on the phone about coming in for work today. These last few weeks I have worked only mon tue each week.
    No message so I'll be making a few contacts by phone today to tie up some unanswered questions and line up projects for the summer.

    And of course, shoveling. Theres always that.

    Good morning, rain and 60 degrees is forecast for today, I get to work this evening.
    I'm thinking the ground isn't going to dry out enough to make firewood 'til August, I guess I could always go fishin' !!

    It's a cold, IMG_5646.JPG very snowy day. Roads in the area are closed due to a high number of accidents. When your old, retired and not in the best of health, this is how you handle the situation......................................

    Only an 8 hour work day today. Then the 12 y.o. son and daughter and I went for a fast walk outside. Then we brought some wood in. Then it was time to get to the important stuff. The eating of Tacos for dinner.:thumbs: I limited myself to 5.:D
