    More snow and wind tonight. High today was 24*. Wind is in the low 40's and gusting into the 60's on a regular basis.

    Busy day with two curling games to watch. USA came within one shot of beating Canada in the second game. It really is a shame when one team has to lose when the game is well played. Afterwards went for a drive to scout for firewood.

    Ended up bringing back our scrounge, splitting and stacking it and then put wood down in the basement for campinspecter's fire tomorrow.

    Good morning. I have some caffeine is going down. Loaded up the boiler. And went out earlier and plugged in the John Deere 210C. :thumbs: I was very happy to find it had a plug in heater for when it is cold. I figure an hour and a half will make a big difference this morning. I'll need to go get some Diesel later this morning when I take my first break. After I feed the family and get them off to work and school it is time to cut and bring home some more firewood. :saw: :tractor:

    I guess the steelhead are safe from me this week. Prolly should've paid more attention to the weather forecast. I'm not really properly equipped for snowy riverbanks.

    Good morning, 57 and overcast with a small chance of rain and falling temps.
    Coffee is on and it's too soggy to get into the woodlots, the secret ponds are all muddy and flooded, the fishes would certainly outsmart me today, no doubt, so I rectum I'll have another cup of coffee.
