At 32 here. Very quiet outside, no wind, just robins calling around the yard. A small fire is lit, coffee and blueberry muffins to start the day. I'm looking forward to time with family today and the overall solemnity of the day. Happy Easter to the FHC family. Be safe in your travels.

On those Gas, the button on the top of the loader stick is a clutch disengage. Allows you to keep the machine stationary with your left foot, and apply throttle with your right foot to boost the power available to the loader.

Hmmmm. I wonder then how the operator controls the hydraulics on the other hydraulic line that goes down the right side of the loader arm? I am not sure if it was factory or added on. I have some playing around, checking things out, and some research to do. Several days ago I ordered a two package deal of a used John Deere operator's manual and parts catalog I found on e-bay in nice shape. They should be here in the next few days.

Just threw a brisket in the crock pot as its pouring here.

Spring is in full swing here. I don't think I've ever seen so many Monarch Butterflies in the past, maybe the stiff southern breezes blew them a bit off course?
    First two hummingbirds arrived yesterday.

Threw a small fire on...dropped in the 20s last night. Made the breakfast casserole and took all four dogs out for a walk.

Also had time to make some bars this morning for the after church fellowship.

We share a pastor with another church and they decided to do a sunrise service and we took the 10am slot. Makes for a productive morning!

Enjoy your Easter Day all...a true gift from above! :)

Who can tell me what the name of this quick attach system is? Or is it John Deere specific?

You pull the handle on the left and it disconnects the two pins on the bottom. Then just curl out from underneath the top hooks.

I am use to seeing two hydraulic lines when I see auxiliary hydraulics on a machine. There is only one line here.?

Gas I think its called a quick hitch, but probably wasn't patented.
There might have been another aux hydraulic line on the machine that failed and instead of replacing they plugged it at the manifold block.
follow the hoses back on that side and see if there's any sign of clips etc. for another line.

That aux line looks like it was a "custom" add-on. It may have been setup for something specific, most likely a single acting cylinder with a stiff spring return. No idea on how they may have setup the valve.

The quick attach looks similar to systems Deere offered on smaller equipment. But I don't know a whole lot about the different systems available.

What I do know about these comes from running a 310C awhile back. Workhorse of a machine, and a pleasure to run.
