the software is good, same as TT but cheaper.
I ran three buddies taxes after they got ripped off by HRB offices to prove the point to them. Each had paid $160-185 for chit as simple as deducting ad valorem tax on a vehicle(the form cost more than the deduction). I refuse to pay the $20 state filing fee and print and mail those as well.
    Under $40 for 5 free fed e-files.

There are free cases of beer in my future:drunk:

I went there once after moving between states/changing jobs and got hosed for 3-400, and the state sent me an amended return form....which made me owe the state a bunch more than the knucklehead punching the buttons believed. I questioned him several times on the validity of his processing and he kept trying to reassure me, yeah it wasn't an audit...just a we know HRB are a bunch of fools and you owe us more than they promised we'd give you back

I like that turbotax verifies and stands behind their filings for you.

 The software says it handles all the schedules I need to use. Then provides a hurdle that it can't solve. It refers you to read a IRS publication in order to complete the process.

So I need to buy the most expensive edition and just hope it's all there? I've used the software since the mid 90's, it's come a long way but it still isn't perfect.

Time for some caffeine and a hot shower. I'm actually going to go out and see if I can get some work done outside iwhen it is not raining or it is very light. Then when it picks up I'll come inside and do some much needed cleaning and organizing of paperwork and garage bench. Again.:picard::rofl:

Up, caffeine and breakfast Sammy in. Got to do med appt. drives today. We got about 3-4 inches of snow and now it has turned to sleet and freezing rain. Radar showing most of it is over up here but Gas should have quite a bit coming yet in the form of rain. Everyone have a good safe day.......

After so many years........WWW never claimed enough, fine for his salary but his commission always changed things up. I ended up using "withhold at a higher married" on my W2, and that worked really well for many years if it interest you.

Caffeine time. Going to be too warm to do loader work today. Too muddy. I may get the saw out and cut some firewood.

Usual upload this a.m. of caffeine and breakfast Sammy. Drives to do today. Also have to drop this POS laptop off so they can load a bunch of stuff onto my new one. Got to the end of my rope with this thing locking up. Couldn't find anyone who could fix it, so it now gets the boot. Hope they have my new one ready for tonight.................Everyone have a good day and stay safe.
