Careful...... I had to fight with my local TSC to use the last coupon. They do not honor the coupon when buying fuel. According to store manager. 3 different cashiers would take it, but not the last one. I talked them into it though. :D

Yeah, I think we had to sign up for the discounts. I think I did it on line IIRC.

I bet the next one says not for wood pellets. They gave me a hard time too. I left the pellets in the cart and walked out. I hope they didn't think I was gonna put them back on the stack. :loco:

I hate you guys - getting coupons for TSC, getting great pellets at TSC, having an HD close enough to rent a truck for the set time (I can't even get the thing to my house and back in the time period - much less pick up stuff). :hair:

All I can say is compared to what I was paying for electric heat I should save about 500$ a month moving over to pellets.

They take my address and phone number whenever I put pellets on layaway so I assumed that's how I started getting the coupon mailed.

What reason are they citing for not honoring the coupon for fuel purchase? The latest coupons they've been sending say 10% off your entire purchase including clearance items. Is there a fine print exclusion for fuel??

There is one cashier at my local TSC I avoid like the plague on account of she is so disagreeable. If I walk in and she's on duty, I walk right back out. If forced to deal with her it's like you might as well go get the manager now because you and I are about to have an argument.

Amen to that. We are coupon and discount hounds! Doesn't really matter how much either. $5, $25, $50 it's all good. Just make me thing I'm saving a few bucks for gas and groceries and I'm a happy piglet.

Smokinpiney Go to the TSC website, click "support" tab at the top right. In the new window at the bottom left is a place to "e-mail sign-up" for promotional stuff to be sent to you.

EZ Blaze could a a popular pellet this year too . Personally I'm just very happy and excited that those of us in the non New England states are starting to have opportunities to burn all these different brands of softwoods  I remember some nameless salesman saying there wasn't a market for them down here

I think once the word gets out I can see them growing in this area . Glad to hear you guys are starting to get a bigger selection . I wonder if the pellet mills in your area have anything to do with that ?

I guess this goes along with pellets . Also I'm playing around with my feed gate and have it about 80 % open . They say the flames should be about 4 - 6 inches out of the fire pot but as you go from low to high shouldn't the flames increase also ?
