    Lucas is as good as K2 for inside coating. R50 is the best I've seen. Motul would be 2nd.

    Does the Klotz R50 leave carbon deposits on the top of the piston, or is it clean burning like H1R and K2 ?

    It will leave some carbon on the piston top. Not enough for me to worry about.

    Klotz is synthetic or castor depending on which one. K2 is around $14/liter.

    What does techniplate mean? I know its an oil but where is that name from?

    That's what klotz calls their oil. You would have to call them and ask.

    OK, I have some 2t, R50, more H1R, and Lucas coming in ............... then I am done experimenting and will only have 1 or 2 that I will use based on your reccomendations and my observations from use in all of my 2 cycle equipment and bikes.

    If you read the tech sheets R50 says no more than 10% ethanol. I would like to see the tech sheet for Lucas to see how cold it can go before separation.

    I saw that about the R50, but it wont matter to me at all, I use ethanol free VP94 exclusively for all my 2 cycle

    As far as seperating when cold .......... when its below 20 Deg F, I wont be going outside to run any equipment
