I want to see if the build up occurs when milling. I think it won't be as bad as some.

Really doesn't have to be too crazy. Sometimes we trip over 'good enough' in pursuit of mo'betta. A dirty air filter can have more effect than the difference between a PAO and an Ester base oil. Running a saw lean will kill it much, much quicker than an almost undistiguishable difference in base oils.

Lucas will be plenty good for 99% of us. I just like klotz for the price of $2 more a quart than the lucas.

I like lucas for 4 reasons...lubrication is near the top, price, doesn't get to stinking everything up like stihl ultra, and is thinner and readily mixable unlike the other high performance oils. This new 461 i've been cutting with has just about 5 tanks through her. Glad I tried the Lucas.

    I mixed up some K2 and R50, both @ 32:1
R50 seemed almost as thick as H1R. That H1R is like maple syrup from the refrigerator
H1R takes a while to mix, more of a shake fest
K2 was definitely the thinnest of the three so far.
    K2 and R50 mixed easily

    When mixed with VP94 (4 cycle);
H1R has a more reddish/brownish tint - (only noticeable when sitting next to R50)
    R50 has a red tint
K2 has a more of an red/orangey tint - (only noticeable when sitting next to R50)

If you have clear jugs or jars to mix small batches in its amazing how long it take H1R to mix. K2 is quick. Motul 800 is a little thicker than K2.

When I made up some h1r seems like I remember it taking what seemed longer to me to fully mix.

It seemed like the husky XP I use to use was almost dissolved when I poured it in.

I use a measuring jug. Pour my oil in for say 2 gallons at 32:1. Then put gas into the jug till almost full. I shake it till its mostly dissolved and then keep filling with fuel till all residue is dissolved by fuel.

I have some 600mL containers made for mixing 2 cycle, they are a whitish/clear. I learned to stir equal amounts of H1R and VP94 in an open container with a spoon before attempting to mix in the container.

Motul 800 is up next (need to use the mixed R50 and K2 first though. Its only 600mL, so it should go quickly)

    Yeah 600ml is what about 20oz? About 5 minutes in a 660.

I think my 650 gets a little better mileage than that?

I had put one of those together and was using it and made 9-10 cuts in some maple about 24" for firewood. It sputtered and died. I went to checking everything I could think of and then I thought check the fuel. I was almost ready to pull the jug.

My 066 fuel tank holds 28oz
I tried the R50 and K2 yesterday, and I must be nuts, but I like the smell of H1R the best so far. R50 is second, and K2 just smells like a 2 stroke on race gas. Motul 800 and Lucas are up next !

Its definitely NOT Motul 800. The 800 is the reddest red that I have ever seen !! Its even more red than Klotz !! (mixed or unmixed)
The VP 2 cycle is blue .................
Can anyone confirm what color is Motul 710 ?
