We have a lombardini diesal engine on a log splitter It's broke everything we've tried Leather paracord and various brands of saw rope Still hasn't broke true blue after a year.
The 4.5 trueblue did the trick I've cut a lot this week with I'm getting some more hyway popups good running saw
I started looking into a Dolmar PS 9000 I picked up, with no spark. Got under the recoil and didn’t see this until I pulled it. I did notice that the coil screws weren’t too tight though when I was removing it.
Went through this 026 for a friend. Been sitting in dirt. And had been dropped or hit. Gave me fits on the low end. Couldn’t tune the idle. 1/32nd turn one way or the other meant the difference between a spinning chain and a stalling saw. Nearly bought a new carb. Until I found I had a WT 403, the one with the fixed H. Cleaned and rebuilt the carb, and it is much better.
Is there aftermarket mufflers that are not Chinese? I was looking for muffler and bracket for 272 and most appear to have China pricing and branding. $90 oem seems steep and salvaged doesn’t look any better than what I got.
Husqvarna and stihl have factories in china all the oem carbs I've bought for customers from stihl the last several year's are chinese It's not worth fighting about.
I only have oem for all my saws I'm running china muffler's to save damaging them If I come across a oem I'll get it for you.
Not much on the bench yet. Time for a new ring gear and a clutch. I think I might rebuild the hydraulic touch control block while I’m at it. 1953 Farmall Super C.
$16 for can, bracket and gasket. Should this 272 have the metal plate between the guide bar and case?
yes Funny the guide bumper and the cylinder bumper for the cap are still there. Those are usually the missing Chain catcher is awol. That’s par for the course
