I don't know much about them, never seen one in person, just in a video. I need to do some research before I decide. Thanks for letting me know about it.
Do they have points ignition? The thing that worries me is buying one in unknown condition and having to put more into than it worth. You know more than I do about them. What's your opinion on it?
They have points according to the link above. I haven't had to do anything to the points on the few I've had. They can be chipped to eliminate the points. They are neat little saws. The value depends on how much you want one and how useful they are to you. One mans junk is another mans treasure so the saying goes. Air filters and the duck bill valves they use are readily available as are carb kits. They take bulk type fuel lines, not a specific molded type. Easy to work on.
I would like to have a running one just to use for fun. I wouldn't mind having one that needs a little work, I just don't know when I would have time to work on it.
