Tried something new this evening. Wife cooked a chicken so I made some taters on the fire pit. Chucked up, added Punisher season, butter, onions, and BBQ sauce. Turned out great.
Do you have a rotisserie basket for your Joe? Kamado Joe has come up with a basket of their own but before that was available I grabbed a napoleon basket that fits well. Sometimes Ill use the basket for wings and other times Ill just smoke them right on the grill.
I smoked some poppers yesterday for a get together we had. I like to add grated cheddar, rub as well as a package of Boursin garlic and herbs to the cream cheese mix. I used hickory for my smoking wood.
No I dont,but I did watch some vids on it,very interesting. I usually do my wings the conventional way in the big joe and then deep fry them.i bought wings this am but they will have to wait,I'm cooking a whole chicken today that I'm gonna split in half.
