    i have a tel-tru here for mine,havent got around to switching it out...i just dont pay attention to it,mostly use an instant read or if im doing some thing important ill use my thermpro so i dont overshoot.

    I thought I was practicing excellent self discipline by not taking a peek. I proceeded with the recipe and will report back. Will be eating around 7pm. Chicken soup on the wood stove as a backup…. Moderating you can move the pics of my wildfire charred country style ribs over to the Whoops... thread if appropriate.

    I suppose the thread only wants to know what’s on the grill or smoker and does not require that it is a masterpiece. I guess we can leave it in place. :handshake:

    I’m coming over. I’m still hungry. Gonna have to try this one again. Kids were troopers and gnawed at their dinner. Can only improve from here.

    We flipped some NY strips on the Pit Boss this evening over pecan and cherry splits. Man was it good!!

    Hope all yinz folks are doing well! If any if yous can make it to our Central PA GTG this coming June, make plans to do so! There's a post about it that blacksmith made the other day....details to follow soon.
