Pork butt, in smoker almost 7hrs Rubbed with cabelas pecan honey seasoning, not as much seasoning as usual because I was using mulberry for smoke for the first time and I wanted to taste the smoke to see if it beats apricot
Out in the bar and it’s raining hard on the tin roof sounds great! brisket on the small smoker and breakfast on the blackstone!
The jury is still out….. Mulberry doesn’t seem to have the sweet pleasing aroma of the apricot, (at least not the stuff I have ) it’s flavor is pretty good though!I have to try some more before I can make a proper judgement
My buddy sent me this, it's his Thanksgiving dinner. I know this is a poor excuse for what's s'posed to be my pictures and hopefully I'm not banished from this thread, but I just seem to be too busy getting ready for winter. Please accept my apologies but thought that you might like these. He used his pellet smoker.
Hope everyone had a fantastic turkey day! I was so dang busy busy these past few days so not many cook pics. I made a huge pot of turkey rice soup yesterday and have probably eaten 10 bowls already. Tonight I kicked it up a bit. Turkey rice soup with a few spoonfuls of a friends homemade gojuchang sauce. And a pic of the turkey I smoked and the one mrs piney did in the oven for Thanksgiving at my parents.
Thanksgiving Turkey. Did a cajun brine for about 12 hours. Dee-licious!!!! Wing broke off taking it out of the smoking pan. About six hours on the smoker.
