Pork shldr roast got done today. Rather well done as we were side tracked helping out a friend in need with yardwork. 4hrs reqd turned into 6hrs without my occasional apple juice spritz. All good. No pics. We were entirely to hungry to take the time for photos! And I forgotHmmmm. Pork belly burnt ends next.... Yum.
i tried dukes a few years ago....didnt like it,but i got it off amazon and dont remember checkin the expiration date.....maybe i should give it a second chance?
I've never given second thought to being able to get Dukes, never thought getting it from Amazon, I guess they have bout everything. Who knows how far it had to travel and how it was treated with Amazon too.....I think big temperature fluctuations might could effect it...
They have mostly secondary sellers, much like EBay. So you don't always get the best representation. That aside.. I'm not sure how many are familiar with "Cornell chicken barbecue". It's pretty common here, a vinegar based sauce for basting or marinating. Much like Chiavetta's. Not my first choice, but a neighbor was grilling some on Saturday. Made me want some, so I found the recipe online, made some and grilled some chicken tonight. Came out quite good.
