I picked up a bottle of Mikes Hot Honey from " Eatily " on a recent trip to Boston with the Mrs. a couple weeks ago , was thinking about it over some fried chicken and you now have me craving chicken.
It says extra hot and it is just that.
Right up your alley Skeeter !

First try at smoked cream cheese. It's freakin good! Topped it with a little jalapeño jelly and bam!

One was meat church holy gospel (salty and peppery) and the other was killer hogs bbq rub. They were both really good but the gospel was the winner. Next time I'm going to try something like everything bagel or a garlic seasoning like you said

Pulled chicken tacos for dinner. A mix of thighs and breasts on the grates @250° for 1.5hrs then in a pan with chicken broth @300° for 2hrs. Drained the liquid and shredded. Paired with some homemade Mexican rice and fresh jersey sweet corn from my buddys farm.

Two things that I love , and sorry as good as that chicken looks that is not it.

Mexican Rice , just recently started making this from scratch myself and can't get enough of it.

And that Jersey Corn , I don't know why but it is probably the best corn I have ever had. I have a friend who has grandkids in Jersey and every time he goes down to visit he comes back with a bunch of corn.

    Great Job !!

Thanks! I love Mexican rice and have tried a few different recipes but none really were our favorite until this one. It actually tastes very similar to the rice at a Mexican restaurant we love nearby. This is the recipe i used

    Authentic Mexican Rice

And your right, there's nothing like jersey sweet corn.
