Looking Good...... Merry Christmas to you and your family....
Thanks, brother. Hope you like the Hawaiian...
Got the burgers and link sausage down now.
It has been raining steady since 11:00AM. Don't have our smokehouse built yet, so us REDNECKS figure thangs out. Storage building, smoker and box fan, we git'ting it did down here...
Just pulled this 10lb shoulder off after a 14hr smoke. Setting an alarm for 12:30 am always sucks but the finished product is worth it. Sorry no after pic yet. Wind was blowin about 40mph when pulled it off and quickly got it wrapped and in the cooler.
I’m sure I will... ... Thanks again... but I’ll open tomorrow......
Looking good Jeff. Merry Xmas to you and Carol.
Well I went to the butcher shop to get my Prime Rib for Saturday Night... and walked out with a Tri Tip also... I put some Butter Steak Seasoning from Costco on it...
Turned up the heat to cook the burgers and sausage. We rolling the smoke now.
The finished product
Thanks, Merry CHRISTMAS to you and Chaz as well.
That building is going to smell so good for a long time. You are going to get hungry every time you go in there.
Adapt and overcome! Nice job. Merry Christmas to you and the family
You gotta report back on which flavor wins.
I found out a few things. I think I need to pat the wings really dry, if I'm going to put them in a bag with the seasoning and shake to coat. Really got to much on them, made them a bit salty and to hot for some folks.
Most liked the Lemon Garlic the best, it can stand a heavier rub.
The tequila lime is good, tiny bit of heat
The Chicka licka boom boom is Cajun, so you know it had some heat.
Guess I'll have to cook more New Year Day for the football games...
Maybe pick a winner, winner ... Chick dinner
Yes ma'am, we have been doing that for awhile, it's hard for Miz Carol to roll the smoker out. And it does smell good in there.
Two stroke chicken wings?
Nah, I moved all that equipment to the other shed earlier.
Thanks! Wasnt my best but still tasty. I did everything like i normally do but the meat was a bit tough to pull. Still had great flavor
Just plopped a couple venison summer sausages on the smoker. See ya in a few hrs!
